Wolds Design is run by Nikki Turner and Dave Chaplin. Both have spent nearly a decade each in IT. Nikki finds she can still hold a conversation with normal people, which after such a long time is a rare quality. It helps that she recently completed a Master's Degree in English. Computer Science graduate Dave, it has to be said is far more geeky and takes on the more technical aspects while Nikki prefers the 'creative stuff'.

The company was set up after the pair had taken on several commissions to create websites for friends who were daunted by the whole business and perplexed by the deliberately confusing jargon often employed by the IT industry.

The somewhat elderly cat in the picture is Bonjo, her place in the team involves walking on keyboards and swiping pens off desks.
